Instructions for filling out a Fox Hunting Form

You have reached this page by scanning a typical QR Code. During the Fox Hunt several of the Foxes will have little cards with the information pertaining to the Fox that the Hunter has found, including the Name of the Fox, Frequency, etc. It will also contain a QR Code that will direct you to a form where you can Log your finding of the Fox.

The form will ask for some information from you.

  • Name – Please enter at least your first name.  Last name is optional.
  • Call – Enter your callsign if you have one.  If you don’t have one, just type in “None” (without the Quotes)
  • Fox Name – This should automagically be filled in for you, but if it isn’t, the Fox’s name is on the card.
  • Date – This will be a Calendar picker to choose the date that you found the Fox.
  • Time – This will give you a Time selector in 12 hour format.
  • Email Address – You can enter your email address if you would like to be added to the list of Hunters wishing to be notified of future hunting opportunities.
  • Comments or Feedback – We welcome your feedback or general comments about the Hunt you participated in.

The Name, Call, Fox Name, and Date fields are required.  All other fields are completely up to the Hunter if they wish to fill these in.

Once you finish filling in at least the required fields, Click the Submit button and your submission will be sent to the Hunt coordinators.

Some participants will choose to fill out the form, others may choose not to.  It is not a requirement that participants use the entry form if they do not wish to do so.  In the future, there may be opportunities outside of the regularly scheduled Fox Hunt sessions.
